Desfile de bienvenida is the archival title given to this film found among the films collected by Gregorio Antonino María Sagarmínaga y Aberasturi known as La colección Sagarmínaga. The exact production date and location aren’t known for certain but it is thought to have been shot during the Parisian visit of Tsar Nicholas II in October 1896.
